  1. Kia ora Vaha,

Charlotte here from the SLJ team.

Ka pai for creating this delicious picnic menu! I love the variety of food you have.

I had never heard of otai until another blogger posted about it a few weeks ago. It sounds so delicious! I've been meaning to make it.

What would be your favourite item on the menu? Mine would probably be the ice cream!

    Ngā mihi,

    Charlotte

  2. Kia ora Vaha,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. Great work creating a very cool looking menu! Well done for making such a healthy menu. I love the name 'Chill' - such a great name for a restaurant!

For my order, can I please have a pie and an apple. For my drink, I'll have a smoothie please and for dessert I'll have an ice-pop. Now I am so full! I wonder how much that will all cost me!

Do you make otai at home? I would love to know the recipe. I have had it once before and it is so delicious on a hot, summer’s day.

    Great work, Vaha!

    Have an awesome summer.

    Fiona (SLJ).

    1. Hey Fiona!

Thank you for saying it was nice. I like the name Chill too!

Yes, okay I will get it for you. Just kidding! Wish I could. That will cost you $10, just kidding again.

Yes we do have Otai at home right now. For the easy one which is watermelon, all you need is watermelon, coconut (shredded), some milk and water.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

      You too!
